Rockwood Families with a New Student

Kindergarten Enrollment

Rockwood offers full-day, tuition-free kindergarten. Children must be five years old before Aug. 1, 2019, to begin kindergarten in the fall.

Each January, Rockwood elementary schools host special kindergarten enrollment events for families. If you miss these events in January, please contact your elementary school at your earliest convenience.

How do you wish to enroll your student(s)?

Rockwood parents must have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account to enroll a new student via the online application.  If you do not have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account, please contact your child's school.  If you have forgotten your username and/or password, email Infinite Campus Help Desk at portalhelp@rsdmo.org.

Important: To complete the online census verification process the parent or guardian will need an Infinite Campus Portal account. Learn how to get an Infinite Campus Portal account.

The district has the right to request additional proof at any time or to employ other means to verify residency. Under Missouri law, misrepresenting residency is a criminal offese.  Other Important Questions

Children must be five years old by July 31 to enter kindergarten.

Screening is one way to check your child’s ability to perform specific age appropriate skills. We use the Developmental Tasks for Kindergarten Readiness-II (DTKR-II) to assess across domains:  Acquired Knowledge, Verbal/Conceptual Skills, Visual Skills, Social Development, and Hearing/Vision.

  • This is a FREE service provided to our Rockwood students (Age 5 by July 31, 2019).

  • Please allow 1 ½ hours for completion of the screening, hearing/vision assessment, and review results with the kindergarten teacher or school representative.

As outlined in Board Regulation 2400, directory information includes such things as:

  • student’s name, addresses, phone numbers, birth date, email address
