Who are School Social Workers?

School social workers are employed by the school districts to enhance student learning by providing services which strengthen home-school-community partnerships.

School social workers use their training and professional knowledge to address barriers within, child, home, school, and community that may be interfering with student achievement.

School social workers assist students and their families through early identification, prevention, intervention, counseling, support, and advocacy.

We encourage you to browse the areas we support in the left column of this page.  In addition, please browse the links and downloads on this page and on subsequent pages at your convenience for helpful information.

If you have questions or would like to contact a social worker for further information then please feel free anytime.  We look forward to connecting with you soon.
