Summer Expo 2019 is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 10, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
The event, presented by Parkway-Rockwood Community Ed, will take place at Marquette High School, 2351 Clarkson Road in Chesterfield.
Summer Expo is Community Ed's biggest event, where 100 local and regional exhibitors will provide families with information about summer activities. As many as 2,000 people are expected. Vendors will offer programming for pre-K thru high school.
Admission is free, and participants do not need to attend school, or reside in, the Parkway or Rockwood school districts to attend the event or sign up for summer activities.
Interested families can get a preview of what exhibitors will be in attendance
Community Ed Director Michael Seppi said exhibitor guides will be available at the event, as well.
"We start getting calls in December," said Seppi. "People call to see what kind of activities are available in the summer. Early February is prime time. Parents start to turn their attention when the holidays are over."
Seppi said registration for Community Ed programming will open online the day of the expo. Parents who attend the Expo and visit the Community Ed tables can get a coupon code for 15 percent off most Community Ed summer programs. The coupon code is good for two days only.
