Marquette HOSA Students Place at International Competition

Approximately 13 high school students appear on stage during an awards ceremony.

​​​Marquette students appear on stage at the HOSA International 
Leadership Conference, June 27-30.​

Students from Marquette High School placed in six competitions at the HOSA 41st Annual International Leadership Conference in Dallas, June 27-30. 

In the category known as knowledge tests, Jora Wang won eighth-place in behavorial health. 

In team events, Tiffany Yoon and Briana Aguilar won sixth-place in medical innovation. Neha Bollam, Kelley Sinning and Kayla Berry won third-place in medical innovation. 

HOSA-Future Health Professionals is an international organization for students with an interest in the health professions. 

HOSA (formerly known as Health Occupations Students of America) officials say more than 6,900 competitors took part in 60 health-related events at the conference. 

Nearly 10,000 health sciences students, advisors, government and private sector leaders, judges, family, and guests gathered at the international convention to network with members from across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and American Samoa.
