The Rockwood School District has been named a 2015 Top Workplace by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. This is the second year in a row Rockwood has made this list.

Nearly 60 percent of Rockwood employees asked to participate in the survey took the online survey.
- Employees believe the encouragement of new ideas and their job makes them feel like they are a part of something meaningful. Rockwood enables them to work at their full potential.
- Rockwood staff indicated they believe senior management understands what is really happening in Rockwood. They also feel genuinely appreciated by leadership and feel well-informed about important decisions concerning Rockwood.
- Results showed employees believe Rockwood operates with strong values and ethics. Employees feel they are efficient, and there is good inter-department cooperation.
Rockwood was ranked 11 out of 20 in the Large Employer category. More than 160 companies, nonprofit groups and government agencies agreed to participate in survey conducted by Workplace Dynamics. The participants were from organizations that employ more than 74,000 people in the St. Louis area; more than 40,400 responded to the confidential survey.
