The Ridge Meadows Library Media Center is located in the heart of our school. Double doors invite students into the world of books and computers. The Library Media Center operates on a flexible schedule, with teachers scheduling story time, research time, and other activities on an "as needed" basis. Students may come at any time during the school day to check out books, do research, and use one of our twelve student computers. Mrs. Miller and Mrs. Meyer are available to assist staff and students with curriculum support materials and suggestions for recreational reading. Parent volunteers assist at the circulation desk with checking out and shelving books--our parent volunteers are a wonderful addition to our school! Students may choose from a collection of more than 12,000 titles of fiction and nonfiction. Students are taught to search for books on Destiny, our library catalog. They also receive instruction on the use of various databases provided by the district for research and support of the curriculum.
