With thousands of books and ebooks, hundreds of audio/visual resources, a wide selection of interesting periodicals, and a variety of technological resources, the RSHS Library is the place for learning, personal growth, and enjoyment. The Library has two computer labs, two classroom areas, a media production room, and a professional reading/conference room. The Library provides materials, time, and space for students to work alone or collaborate with others to read, research, and create. The library staff work to provide top-notch service and educational opportunities for all.
The RSHS Library Media Center website provides access to many valuable online resources. Destiny is the online library catalog that can be accessed from school or home. Many useful district and school databases and web resources are also available. Most of these are accessible from any Internet-connected computer.

The RSHS Library encourages students to participate in the Gateway Readers Award Program. Sponsored by the Missouri Association of School Librarians, the award is designed to encourage high school students to read for pleasure and to promote quality young adult literature. Each year, 15 books are nominated for the award. The winning book is selected by Missouri high school students. Students who read three or more nominated books are eligible to vote for their favorite book in March. Click on the Readers' Awards link on the left side of this page to see the list of this year’s nominees.
